Two inception planning documents for the Poverty Reduction Support Facility in Indonesia are provided for the information of individuals/organisations. As the Australian aid program has increased its investment in this Facility during the current term of the program, a revision of systems and processes was required. The first document details changes to the implementation framework for the Facility to the end of 2014, and includes details on preparatory activities for a potential phase 2. The second document proposes an implementation plan for the period after 2014 to 2017. They have been developed in consultation with the Government of Indonesia and development partners, and will be used as a basis for further discussion as the Governments' forward poverty reduction agenda is developed. The size and scope of a second phase will be determined according to Government of Australia and Government of Indonesia priorities.
Subject to that determination, these documents will be used as a basis for the next phase of the Poverty Reduction Support Facility, in accordance with the notification on the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) procurement plan 2013-14. Prepared in June 2013, this document refers to program administration by AusAID. As of 1 November, development policy and the delivery of Australia's aid program is the responsibility DFAT.
