DFAT organises a number of short duration (generally 1-5 days) capacity building and related activities and meetings for partner government officials and private sector stakeholders to progress priority trade and development issues. These include (but are not limited to) policy dialogues, roundtable technical discussions, workshops and Ministerial meetings. DFAT plans to tender for an administrative and logistical services provider to deliver services including (but not limited to): sourcing, mobilising and managing facilitators, subject matters experts, speakers; booking venues, accommodation and meals packages; supporting participant attendance including troubleshooting before, during and after the event; providing feedback and reporting on the event; continually improving event management services. Services will be delivered in Australia and overseas. An open tender is expected for a multi-year contract to be released to the market in Q3 2016.
