DFAT’s Aid Programming Guide has been updated
It has been reset an 'external facing' document for greater industry access. New guidance intends to speed up the design process, while promoting minimum quality standards.
Key changes include:
- The push for simplification of business processes.
- Clarity of policy and program intent for both concepts and designs.
- Oversight of facilities.
- An option for simple investments to be part of an adaptive design and procurement trial. This is for alternative design processes including concept to tender, design updates, design-implement and co-creation.
