The Australian Government’s response to the Senate Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade References Committee report, Funding for public research into foreign policy issues, was tabled in Parliament on 5 December 2024. The response agrees with 4 recommendations, agrees in-principle with 2 recommendations and notes 2 recommendations. The Government recognises and appreciates the work of the Committee.
