Australia has a constructive bilateral relationship with Azerbaijan. Diplomatic relations were established in 1992. Azerbaijan has an Embassy in Canberra, and Australia’s Ambassador to Türkiye has non-resident accreditation to Azerbaijan. Parliamentary delegations have visited each other’s countries.
