This document is the Head Agreement between the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the University of Birmingham for the Developmental Leadership Program Phase III (2019- 2022). 

SARIC is an Australian Government funded $32 million initiative that started implementation in early 2020.

The PCTP-RAPID Program was developed and implemented from 2012 to 2019, and supported the post-disaster recovery planning of the most vulnerable provinces (5), cities (3) and municipalities (16) affected by Tropical Storm Washi (2011) in Northern Mindanao Region, Typhoon Bopha (2012) in Davao Region, and Super Typhoon Haiyan (2013) in Eastern Visayas Region. 

This review was commissioned to assess the effectiveness of Australia’s support for peace in Muslim Mindanao under the Peacebuilding in Conflict-Affected Mindanao investment and its ongoing appropriateness in the current political context.

The provision of technical assistance is important in smaller Pacific countries to progress development priorities with partner governments.

DFAT has a requirement for the provision of training and networking services as a component of the South Asia Regional Infrastructure Connectivity (SARIC) Program.
