DFAT is planning two Regional Big Meet events in Papua New Guinea for early November 2023. These will be in-person events only.

This forward-facing refresh will update the Australian NGO Cooperation Program's (ANCP) accreditation system and Funding Policy to address relevant agreed recommendations from the 2022 ANCP Evaluation.

The “Saving Lives, Spreading Smiles” program aimed to reduce preventable maternal and newborn deaths in Papua New Guinea (PNG) by focusing on active monitoring of labour (particularly third stage), preventing and managing post-partum haemorrhage and providing post-natal care for mother and baby.
