This Mid-term Review aimed to assess the overall performance of the program towards achieving its outcomes and provide recommendations for possible future support.

The Australian Government is supporting the Government of Vanuatu through its Vanuatu Education Support Program (VESP) to undertake long-term education reforms. A key focus of these reforms is the rollout of a new national curriculum in conjunction with the National Language Policy (2012), intended to improve teaching quality and student learning outcomes for students in the primary and early secondary years of education.

The evaluation of the AHP Bangladesh Response Phase III assessed results against four outcomes focused on: the basic needs of Rohingya and host communities; self-reliance of the affected population; resilience of Rohingya and host communities; and reform of the humanitarian system. 

The Community Channels of Hope project focused activities on reducing violence against women in targeted communities. Gender Equality Project assists communities in Honiara and South Malaita to address gender-based violence by targeting the root causes of gender inequality.

Empowering Pacific Migrants through Remittances (EMPR) is a four-year, $3 million program jointly funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) and Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

The Pacific Humanitarian Warehousing Program (PHWP) Investment Design Document (IDD) is the key document that outlines a framework for program implementation to enhance humanitarian warehousing in 14 Pacific island countries and Timor-Leste between 2023 – 2031.

Guided by Pacific priorities, the Pacific Humanitarian Warehousing Program (PHWP) will ensure timely access to climate and disaster resilient, fit-for-purpose warehouses and Humanitarian and Emergency Relief Supplies in the 14 Pacific island countries pictured in the Program Map and Timor-Leste.

AIHSS is a partnership between the Governments of PNG, Australia, and New Zealand, and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.  AIHSS is implemented by 11 Provincial Health Authorities (PHAs) and the Bougainville Department of Health, supported by non-government organisations known as implementation support providers, with technical support from the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The Australian-Indonesia Partnership on Disaster Risk Management (SIAP SIAGA) is an $36 million five-year partnership (2019 – 2024) between Australia and Indonesia which aims to strengthen Indonesia’s management of disaster risks and engagement between Australia and Indonesia.
