Australia commends Bulgaria on steps it has taken to protect and promote human rights since its last review, including A-status accreditation for its Ombudsman. Australia also welcomes Bulgaria’s efforts to address obstacles to the effective prosecution of crime and corruption cases.

Australia commends Andorra on its strong commitment to the protection and promotion of human rights. Australia welcomes the creation of Andorra’s National Commission for the Prevention of Gender-based and Domestic Violence (CONPVGD) in 2015. Australia commends Andorra’s ratification of the UNESCO Convention against Discrimination in Education in March 2018.
