Development assistance

This MOU articulates the commonalities between the objectives and approaches of USAID and DFAT, and establishes a basis for ongoing dialogue and cooperation between them.

In 2017 the Indonesian province of Papua launched an inclusive child grant for all indigenous Papuan children under the age of four. The program, called BANGGA Papua, is currently being implemented in three districts. The program was developed by the Provincial Government of Papua (PGP) with technical assistance from development partners and is funded with the province’s special autonomy funds.
