The Australia-Korea Foundation (AKF) Board held its 70th board meeting in Brisbane on 23 November 2015 followed by a successful Alumni event. The Board has agreed on four long-term priority areas:
- trade diplomacy and geopolitics
- technological and scientific innovation
- building cultural understanding
- reciprocal Australian and Korean studies
The alumni event was extremely well received by the AKF stakeholders in Brisbane which now has the second largest Korean diaspora community in Australia. More photos are available on the AKF Facebook page
In order to maximize the impact of the AKF-supported projects, multi-year grant applications will be encouraged from AKF 2016 round, which will be announced in early February 2016.
