The Australian Government has reviewed Australia’s sanctions laws to identify areas of reform that will ensure they remain clear, fit for purpose and aligned with contemporary foreign policy objectives. The review considered the views of a range of Australian stakeholders, including:

  • the general public
  • industry
  • universities and academics
  • humanitarian actors
  • civil society
  • law firms
  • regulatory and law enforcement agencies.
