The remains of fourteen Australians have today been positively identified
in Bali. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Police Authorities
have been in contact with their families.

The families are from New South Wales (7), Victoria (5), Tasmania (1) and
Western Australia (1).

Arrangements are being made in consultation with the families for their repatriation
to Australia.

We know that this will help these families take another step forward in what
is a very difficult time.

We are continuing to work with Indonesian authorities to expedite the repatriation
process.
