Improved Consolidated List

Category
International relations

In response to public feedback, the Australian Sanctions Office has implemented a series of enhancements to the Consolidated List. The updated list was launched on 6 November 2025.

Key updates include:

  • Identifying each alias as strong or weak
  • Including a list of designated vessels
  • Specifying which measures apply to each listing: targeted financial sanctions, travel bans, arms embargoes, and/or maritime sanctions
  • Standardised format for dates of birth
  • Standardised format for nationalities

The changes are intended to offer users additional functionality, better data matching capability and increased clarity regarding the listing.
