Cablegram unnumbered 29 June 1938,

Desire to thank you for your telegram of 24th June [1] regarding
exportation iron ore from Australia.

My immediately following telegram contains statement made by me
today in the Parliament of the Commonwealth. [2]

Shall be glad if you will communicate copy of my statement to the
Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs. [3]

Copy of statement has been communicated to the Foreign Office.
