The Independent Verification Process (IVP) is the second exercise to assess the Samoa Education Sector's tracking towards nine pre-determined key performance indicators. The IVP enables DFAT and MFAT to release agreed funding (30%) through a performance linked mechanism based on the Government of Samoa's achievement of agreed KPIs.
The 2017 IVP noted significant improvement in the sector's tracking towards the KPIs, with 5 achieved (4 fully and 2 partial) compared to 1.5 in 2016.
