Summary of publication

This Quality at Entry report rates the objectives, monitoring framework, sustainability, implementation and risk management, and analysis and lessons for the Cambodia Water Resource Management Sector Development Program.

The Quality at Entry (QAE) report reviews the design of the department's contribution to the Cambodia Water Resource Management Sector Development Program.

It rates the proposed initiative as being of adequate quality and identifies the need for an engagement plan for donors in the Cambodian water resource sector that are not parties to the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness. It also highlights the need to involve local NGOs.

The need for an actionable risk management plan was also noted. Actions identified during the QAE process are detailed to indicate feedback was incorporated in the design.
