This document provides the economic analysis underpinning the Government of Nauru's National Budget for 2011–12 and a more detailed narrative of announced budget measures.

Nauru's economy remains in a relatively stable condition and conditions in Nauru are expected to remain fairly constant for the 2011–12 budget year. This is despite the plight of some of the much larger economies such as the US and Europe, and probably reflects the speedier recovery and stronger growth being seen in the Asia-Pacific region.
