Description

This document is an assessment of Public Financial Management in Kiribati. It was carried out by external consultants at the request of the Government of Kiribati. The assessment provides information on the performance of Public Financial Management systems, processes and institutions. It does not evaluate government policies or capacity. The analysis has been carried out for the period 2006 to 2009. The findings are based on a review of a wide range of internal and external documentation, three workshops, and meetings with a large number of stakeholders.
