report cover

As part of the Australian Government's commitment to aid effectiveness, Australia and partner countries undertook a review of adviser positions in 2010, funded directly by the Australian aid program. The purpose of the review was to ensure that each adviser position is aligned with agreed development priorities, and to identify and agree on processes for regularly reviewing the use of advisers and considering requests for new positions.

The Adviser Remuneration Framework applies to all commercially-contracted advisers funded by AusAID from 1 January 2011.
