Summary of publication
In 2013-14 Australia's total official development assistance budget to Indonesia was $601.6 million.
Approximately 90 per cent of the aid program was delivered through DFAT with 20 other federal government agencies contributing their expertise. Whilst Australia's aid program to Indonesia is large, it is dwarfed by the scale of Indonesia's own economy. As a result Australia seeks to be catalytic and add value to Indonesia's own efforts in 14 sectors including education, health, infrastructure and decentralisation. This report provides an assessment of the Department's success in delivering assistance against 28 objectives in these 14 sectors.
