Summary of publication
The purpose of this report is to provide a quantitative picture of gender and poverty issues in Indonesia, with a focus on issues falling under the five core Empowering Indonesian Women for Poverty Reduction (MAMPU) themes: poverty and social protection, maternal and child health, employment and wages, migration and remittances, violence against women. The intent is to provide a broad overview and highlight potential entry-points where the MAMPU program could have an especially beneficial impact.
