This document details the design for planned five-year $15m Fiji Community Development Program providing analysis, program description, and implementation and management arrangements.
The planned $15 million five-year program will fund basic service delivery through civil society organisations to mitigate social and economic hardship for people in Fiji. It will have field offices in Labasa, Lautoka and the Suva-Nausori corridor to improve outreach to the rural poor and people living in peri-urban slums. It will support community development with a particular focus on assisting the poor, vulnerable and excluded. It will strengthen civil society organisations' capacity to efficiently and effectively deliver basic services and livelihood opportunities to underserved communities throughout Fiji.
