Summary of publication
This document outlines the context, lessons, proposed features and implementation approach to future Australian aid for education in Fiji.
It proposes that Australia support Fiji's education sector by working with the Ministry of Education to:
- mitigate the economic and social impacts of political instability and the global recession on the most vulnerable through reducing financial barriers to accessing education
- invest in school infrastructure in the poorest communities.
