An Investment Design (Program Design Document) for a possible new program in Cambodia – 3i: Investing in Infrastructure – is provided for the information of the market and prospective tenderers.
The long-term goal of the proposed program is, 'To unlock opportunities for economic growth and trade by increasing investment in private sector-led small-scale infrastructure'.
This will be supported through the achievement of two outcomes:
- Increased access to utilities and other infrastructure services for households and businesses; and
- New and improved opportunities for trade-related businesses and industries.
It is likely that DFAT will require an Operational Contractor to provide management services for the 3i: Investing In Infrastructure program. If approved, the proposed procurement will be listed on the AusTender website [external link] when it is released to market.
