Poverty Reduction Support Facility (PRSF) Concept Note

Notification

11-May-2010

AusAID is currently finalising a design for the Poverty Reduction Support Facility (PRSF) in Indonesia, in preparation for advertising later in the year for a Managing Contractor to run the Facility. The medium term goal of the Facility is to improve the
quality of policy advice for poverty program. In the longer term, the Facility seeks to increase the rate of poverty reduction in Indonesia and reduce the impact of shocks and stresses on the poor and vulnerable.

This activity has evolved quickly, and is a high priority for the Government of Indonesia. AusAID is working towards advertising the PRSF tender in July 2010, although this is subject to change. The PRSF Concept Note is attached here to provide prospective
tenderers with some early information about the Facility. The Concept Note may be included as part of the final facility design document released later with the Request for Tender (RFT). Where there is any discrepancy between this version and the RFT version,
the RFT version will take precedence.

This information is provided for planning purposes only and it does not represent solicitation or constitute a request for proposal, nor is it a commitment to purchase the described services. This potential procurement opportunity is subject to delays, revision
or cancellation.

Please note that AusAID will only respond to queries related to this activity after the formal release of the RFT.
