Notice of a proposed procurement activity
AusAID wishes to notify suppliers that AusAID intends to undertake a one step open tender process to establish an Aid Advisory Services Standing Offer Panel.
The objective of the Panel is to ensure that AusAID and other government agencies have efficient access to the technical expertise required to support the effective delivery of the Australian aid program. The tender will be undertaken in accordance with
the Adviser Remuneration Framework (ARF) released in February 2011 by the Minister for Foreign Affairs the Hon Kevin Rudd MP.
Interested companies and consultants are invited to respond to the tender documentation which will be advertised on AusTender (www.tenders.gov.au) towards the end of this year.
The impact of this tender on existing AusAID Period Offers
Period Offer Deeds are an umbrella arrangement under which AusAID may require services to be supplied from time to time; it is not an offer of engagement and or does not guarantee work with AusAID. Suppliers listed on AusAID's Period Offers are engaged through
a sub-agreement (i.e. Services Order or Tasking Note) in accordance with the terms and conditions of the head agreement (i.e. the Period Offer Deed).
Once the new Aid Advisory Services (AAS) Standing Offer Panel is established it will replace all of AusAID's aid-related Period Offers. Any existing Services Orders or Tasking Notes under existing Period Offers will remain in force until their expiry date.
