The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) held a free information session for Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) on 30 October 2017 to provide them with information on doing business with DFAT and how NGOs can bring value to the Australian Aid Program. Attendees obtained a greater understanding of the nature of DFAT procurement policies and processes, Adviser Remuneration Framework, contract negotiation, Value for Money principles, evaluation process and performance management.
