Introductory Statement

Introductory Statement Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade I, Frances Adamson, as the accountable authority of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, present the 2017–18 annual performance statement of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as required under paragraph 39(1)(a) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act). In my opinion, this annual performance statement is based on properly maintained records, accurately reflects the performance of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and complies with subsection 39(2) of the PGPA Act.
