The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program
The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program provides funding to Australian universities to support Australian undergraduate students’ participation in study, internships, mentorships, practicums and research in 40 host locations across the Indo-Pacific region.
The Mobility Program is open to Australian university undergraduates aged 18 to 28. Participation by undergraduates over 28 is permitted in some circumstances (as outline in the Guidelines).
2022 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants
Applications for the 2022 Round of the New Colombo Plan Mobility Program are now closed.
It is expected that applications for the 2023 New Colombo Plan Mobility Program will open in early to mid 2022.

Virtual Delivery of New Colombo Plan Mobility Projects
To support New Colombo Plan students' continued engagement with the Indo-Pacific while travel restrictions are in place, Government has agreed to virtual delivery of elements of the New Colombo Plan.
Australian universities can refer to the ISEO resource centre for details on submitting variations.
