Ms Gorter is a Rural and Regional industry consultant with many years of experience as a WA livestock producer.
Ms Gorter comes from a farming background and was a landholder involved in running a mixed farming operation in Western Australia, producing prime lamb, wool and grains for domestic and export markets. This included integral involvement in the WA QLamb Alliance regarding the supply chain from paddock to plate.
Ms Gorter has broad networks across rural Australia and provides business and industry management advice in rural areas, including the pastoral zone of WA. She has a growing portfolio of Board roles where she applies her diverse experience and networks. Current Board roles include Meat and Livestock Australia, AgVivo and the Grower Group Alliance.
Ms Gorter is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian Rural Leadership Program.
