The Virtual Tour 'Homestay in Australia' is a Japanese language online education resource targeting Japanese junior high school students who want to learn about Australia. The user can experience a virtual homestay in Australia, guided by six Australian students and covering areas such as Australian history, industries, culture and lifestyle. The Virtual Tour was developed to meet Japanese Curriculum guidelines for social studies. The Virtual tour also encourages Japanese students to come to Australia for homestays and to study.

The Virtual Tour can be used in Japanese classrooms for ICT learning purposes. The Virtual Tour can be used on both computers and tablets.
