Project description

The Australia-Japan Youth Dialogue brings together young leaders from Australia and Japan to explore relations between our two countries and foster personal connections for the benefit of both nations now and in the future. The 2019 Dialogue will be held in Tokyo from 13-16 November.

The Dialogue will gather a diverse group of young people for an ideas exchange encompassing crucial topics for the Australia-Japan relationship. This year, the Dialogue will host up to 24 young leaders - up to 12 from Australia and 12 from Japan - who have a professional track record and a demonstrated commitment to the Australia-Japan relationship. Past delegates have been drawn from fields including government, academia, media, think tanks, science, communications and business, among others.
