The Last Taboo: research on menstrual hygiene management in the Pacific (Solomon Islands, Fiji and Papua New Guinea)

Summary of publication

A winner from DFAT's internal 2015 Ideas Challenge, this program is investigating how girls' and women's access to menstrual hygiene is a barrier to education and employment opportunities. Research has been undertaken in Fiji, Solomon Islands, PNG and Bougainville. The findings and recommendations of the research will assist DFAT and other development partners to plan more effective responses.
