Guinea-Bissau
On 18 May 2012 the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) adopted resolution 2048 (2012) imposing sanctions in relation to Guinea-Bissau in response to the seizure by military officers of power from the civilian government on 12 April 2012.
As a consequence, Australian law now prohibits the following conduct:
The entry or transit through Australia of persons listed by the Security Council or by the Committee established pursuant to resolution 2048 (2012).
