Tenders and other business opportunities
Effective 2 March 2011, all open approaches to market (ATMs) and tender documents published by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) will be available on the Australian Government's procurement information system, AusTender.
To find current DFAT ATMs on the AusTender website:
- select Advanced Search
- select Current ATMs under the ATMs field
- select select an agency
- select Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
- select proceed to step 2
- select search.
This will list all current DFAT ATMs.
Senate Order on Government Agency Contracts
Departmental contracts with the value of $100,000 or more which have not been fully performed or were entered into during the 12 month reporting period.
Consultancy services
Detailed information, including a summary of the department's policy on the selection and engagement of consultants and the value of consultancy contracts let during the year to the value of $10,000 or more, is available in an appendix to the Department's Annual Report.
Annual Procurement Plan
The department publishes an Annual Procurement Plan, comprising of major planned procurement to be undertaken in the forthcoming financial year.
Commonwealth Procurement Rules
The department's procurement and contracting activities are conducted in accordance with the principle of value for money as per the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
