DFAT08-SWE-017 - RFT for Australia’s Communications and Public Affairs program at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 in China
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) seeks to engage a high quality service provider to work with DFAT to provide a range of communications and public affairs services for Australia at the Shanghai World Expo 2010. Services will include public affairs, media management, production of publications and collateral and Australia’s online presence. The successful Tenderer will work with DFAT and other stakeholders to promote the Australian Pavilion and associated events and activities at the Expo.

Conditions of Participation:
Tenderers must demonstrate compliance with the following Conditions of Participation:
- Tenderer (or any of its proposed subcontractors) must not be named as not complying with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (see clause 1.28);
- Tenderer (or any of its proposed subcontractors) must not be named on the list of persons and entities designated as terrorists under the Charter of United Nations (Dealing with Assets) Regulations 2008; and
- Tenderer must not be bankrupt or insolvent.
Other Information:
An industry briefing outlining DFAT’s requirements for this Request for Tender (RFT) will be held at the DFAT offices on Tuesday 10 June 2008. The briefing will take place at the R.G Casey Building, Barton ACT at 10:00 a.m.

Tender documentation will be available online from 30 May 2008.
Closing Time:
The closing time for lodgement of submissions is 2:00 p.m.AEST Tuesday 8 July 2008.
