Additional Information and Amendments to EOI documentation

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) wishes to advise all potential Respondents that the following information applies to the above mentioned Request for Expression of Interest (EOI).

CHANGE TO LOGEMENT DATE

The Closing Time for lodgement of submissions has been extended to 2.00pm AEST, 17 June 2008.

Questions and Answers – up to 5 June 2008

Question 1:

Is there a preferred development platform for this software e.g. .Net?

Answer:

There is no preference for the development platform, only that the back end Relational Database Management System is Microsoft SQL.

Question 2:

What is the preferred existing software tool for customisation?

Answer:

There is no preference in this area.

Question 3:

Is migration of any historical data required?  If so, how much data?

Answer:

Migration of historical data will be required. The records are currently in Excel format but being ported to MS SQL. There are currently less than 2000 records. The number of records will increase over time and, depending on implementation timeframes, may double.

All other terms and conditions of the EOI remain unchanged.

The Closing Time for lodgement of responses is 2.00pm AEST, 17 June, 2008.
