The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) wishes to advise all potential Tenderers that the following information applies to the above Request for Tender (RFT).
Information
General
The tender is seeking submissions from suitably qualified Head Contractors to deliver the new fit out of the Australian Passport Office at level 13, Casselden Place, Melbourne.
The tenderer is to provide a submission for the whole of the works. The RFT is not calling for submissions from individual trade contractors or suppliers.
Documentation
- The relevant documentation can be downloaded from the DFAT website under the subheading “Documentation.”
- The HBO+EMTB architectural documentation can be found in Attachment B.
- The Norman Disney Young (NDY) services documentation can be found in Attachment C.
Furniture, Fittings and Equipment (FFE)
The tenderer is to include quotations/allowances for the following furniture, fittings and equipment items outlined on the HBO+EMTB architectural documentation (Attachment B).
- Workstations (refer HBO+EMTB drawings and specification)
- Lockers (refer HBO+EMTB drawing IA 500 Rev C)
- Compactus Units (refer HBO+EMTB drawing IA 500 Rev C)
- Tambour Units (refer HBO+EMTB drawing IA 500 Rev C)
- Printer tables (refer HBO+EMTB drawing IA 500 Rev C)
NOTE: The task chairs and visitor chairs are NOT to be included in the tender submission.
