- 2 March – 8 April 2009: Applications accepted on line
- Early May 2009: Invitations to testing session issued
- 16 May 2009: Online testing session
- July - August 2009: Interviews held in Canberra
- September: Offers of employment
- September - December 2009: Successful applicants undertake security and medical clearances
- February 2010: Graduate Trainee program commences in Canberra
