This publication is part of a geographic set of trade publications released annually by DFAT. It presents statistical data through 2010 describing Australia's trade with countries in Africa and the Middle East.

Data presented in this report gives an overview of Australia's trade highlights with both regions in 2010 and details the composition and direction of merchandise and services trade with major selected countries. In Africa these countries include: South Africa, Algeria, Gabon, Ghana, Libya, Mozambique, Nigeria, the Republic of Congo, Sudan and Tanzania. In the Middle East these countries include: Egypt, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Performance figures for 2008-2010 are listed by region and level of processing.
