IMMEDIATE SECRET
The United States Ambassador [1] at The Hague has been informed by the Foreign Office that Sassen's resignation will help towards implementation by the Netherlands of Security Council's resolution [2], particularly in connection with the release of Republican leaders and negotiations through Commission for formation of an interim Federal Government.
