(1) We expect British Commonwealth members will support United States - Swedish amendment (see our Assembly 324 [2] paragraph 2).

Item will probably be reached at Plenary session tomorrow evening.

(2) Following instructions in your telegram under reference we propose to support United States - Swedish amendment but if that fails to abstain from voting against French-Mexican resolution.

(3) Your attention is particularly directed to domestic jurisdiction issue and we would appreciate urgent instructions whether you wish us to make any statement on this aspect of the case. [4]
