Overview
South Africa, Botswana, Uganda, Mozambique and Kenya have good prospects among the economies of Sub-Saharan Africa. Although these five economies have followed different development paths over the past two decades they now share a common commitment to strong economic growth, full employment, macroeconomic stability and a business friendly environment. Ratings institutions have recognised these efforts, giving investment grade ratings to Botswana and South Africa. This report aims to help Australian businesses take advantage of emerging opportunities in these five African economies.
