Australia has a Consulate in Guayaquil, Ecuador, headed by an Honorary Consul, which provides limited consular assistance to Australian citizens, but does not include the issue of Australian passports. Contact details for the Consulate are:

You can obtain full consular assistance from the nearest Australian Embassy which is in Chile.

By agreement between the Canadian and Australian governments, the local Canadian Embassy in Quito also provides limited consular assistance to Australians in Ecuador. This service does not include the issue of Australian passports. The address is:
