The APEC Region Trade and Investment - Release of Publication

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade today released the. 1998 edition of the publication The APEC Region Trade and Investment.

Released to coincide with the APEC Ministerial Meeting to be held later this month in Kuala Lumpur, The APEC Region Trade and Investment details APEC's trade in merchandise and services, along with graphical comparisons of the major economic indicators of each APEC member economy (including members designate Peru, Russia and Vietnam). The 1998 edition also contains the Australian Supplement, providing details of Australia's trade and investment relationships with other APEC members.

The APEC Region Trade and Investment highlights Australia's extensive trade and investment relationship with APEC, and illustrates the initial impact of the East Asian economic crisis on the region.
