The Australian Government will hold memorial services in Canberra and Bali on 12 October 2012 to mark the tenth anniversary of the first Bali bombings.

The memorial services will be open to members of the public and all Australians and other nationals are welcome to attend. Volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of the tragedy are particularly welcome.

Discussions included Australia-Israel economic relations including resources and energy, regional security, and developments in Syria and Egypt.

Both Ministers also noted their concerns at Iran's ongoing nuclear program.

Expectant mothers in Kiribati will benefit from better access to specialised medical care when a new Australian funded maternity ward opens at Betio Hospital later this year.

Australia will also provide US$3.1 million for a World Bank-led Kiribati Telecommunication and ICT Development project
