Using photographs from the collection
You can download and use images from the photographic collection free of charge, however some copyright conditions apply. In most cases, the image quality is suitable for general publication purposes. If you require higher quality images, or original photographic material for reproduction, please contact:
Historical photographs
The majority of our historical photographs, including those previously produced by the Australian News and Information Bureau and its successors, are now in the custody of the National Archives of Australia (NAA) in Canberra.
