Mr Philip Kentwell
High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago
Biography
Mr Kentwell is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Prior to his appointment as High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago, Mr Kentwell was Director, Administration and Logistics Unit of the Department’s APEC 2007 Task Force. In Canberra, Mr Kentwell worked in Corporate Management Division and as Director, Finance Services and Finance Management Section.
Overseas Mr Kentwell has served as Minister and Consul-General, Tokyo, First Secretary, Phnom Penh, and as First Secretary, at both Amman and Honiara.
Mr Kentwell graduated from the Canadian Academy in Kobe, Japan and also attended Sophia University, Tokyo and the University of Newcastle, New South Wales. Mr Kentwell is married.
