Biography

Mr Peacock is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). He was most recently currently Director, Trade Policy Section, a position he has held since January 2010. Mr Peacock has previously served overseas as Australia's Ambassador to Jordan, Chargé d'Affaires, Australian Embassy Sweden and Chargé d'Affaires, Australian Embassy Lebanon, with earlier postings to Italy and Greece.

Mr Peacock holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Queensland. He is married.
